Our daughter is gorgeous, if I do say so myself (nobody tell her about this blog, ok?) so when she got her birthday presents from Grandma and Grandpa in the post today and I suggested that we should take some photos so Grandma could see how pretty she looked in her new jewellery, Dave immediately set up a proper photo shoot.
The hot lights (that we bought to light the house while painting before the power was on) were brought out of storage, a white sheet was produced from somewhere, I was enrolled as that most handy of all people – someone to hold up one end of the sheet – and away we went.
Her in front of the fan with light diffused through the sheet, me valiantly holding up the sheet while my arms started aching (see how I make sure its all about me, not the gorgeous teenager? I’m much more important!
).
We took a few photos of the boy, too, before we finished. I don’t know how I got such photogenic children, considering how little they had to work from!
Later: Here’s some of the results, now that David has finished playing with them:
