We were out geocaching yesterday (mostly as a way to get out of the house on a Sunday afternoon, now that the weather is turning nicer) when our route took us to Tullamore Park in Dayboro, which was a pleasant find – tucked between houses with a path to walk down from the street. We found the cache, no worries (although it didn’t help that Dave had forgotten to translate the clue, so I had to do a ROT-13 in my head!) but the park was just swarming with birdlife. I suppose it is the season – Spring is just about to be sprung, so the bird should be on the wing
Anyway, the point of all this rambling is that we were only there 3 minutes, but Dave whips the camera out of the backpack (which I refer to as his “handbag” because he always has it with him – hehe) and takes what for me would be ‘a couple of happy snaps’ of the birdies – put them away and never look at them again because they are rubbish – but, for him, noooo. In 3 minutes he has caught Art.
Here is his Magpie photo. Amazing! Look at the gorgeous bokka. How does he do it? I don’t know! I mean, have you seen some of the Bird Photos he has done? Stunning stuff (she says in all bias).
Totally beyond anything I could do, but I do enjoy having the photos around!
